NS Biotec HDL-precipitating reagent is intended for the in vitro quantitative separation of High-Density Lipoproteins (HDL) in serum on manual systems.
Plasma lipoproteins are spherical particles containing varying amounts
of cholesterol, triglycerides, phospholipids and proteins.
What is the principle of cholesterol test?
The basic principle of the method is as follows. The
apoB containing lipoproteins in the specimen are reacted with a
blocking reagent that renders them non-reactive with the enzymatic
cholesterol reagent under conditions of the assay.
